Hyundai ix25 has been creating quite a lot of upheaval in the market even before being launched in the domestic market. Recently, sources have managed to capture spy shots of the vehicle undergoing road test in the country. Though not much part of the vehicle has been visible in the spy shots but from what can be seen it seems to share a lot of resemblance with the one displayed in China. The company has not spoken on the pricing aspect for now, but based on anticipation the vehicle is liely to be launched in the second half of this year.
The upcoming ix25 is likely be available in 1.6 liter petrol and diesel engine options. In some of the international markets the vehicle is already available with an additional 2.0 liter engine. That has been mated with 1.6 liter and 2.0 liter petrol engines that has been mated to 6-speed manual and automatic transmission that comes with an optional front-wheel and all-wheel drive systems.
Speaking on the design aspect, the vehicle is likely to sport angular headlamps that compliment the hexagonal chrome finished front grill with sporty bumpers. Large tailgate along with the tapering thick C-pillar and blackened out A-Pillar renders it a sporty appeal. With a heavy localization of in plans the company may bring in the new vehicle at a lucrative price tag.
