The Hyundai i20 Active launched in March this year has been a stylish offering in the crossover segment by the Korean carmaker. Since its launch the vehicle has indeed been a hotseller in the domestic market. In April alone the sales number for i20 Active and Elite i20 had stood to around 12,425 units.
Speaking more on this commendable achievement, Rakesh Srivastava, Senior VP for Sales and Marketing, Hyundai India said, “Hyundai with a volume of 38,601 units continued the growth momentum with 9.5% increase over last year on the strength of strong and young product portfolio led by 12,425 units of Elite i20 and i20 Active in a challenging market conditions especially in the rural market.”
The Hyundai i20 Active is available in Petrol as well as diesel variants. The petrol version is powered by 1.2 Liter engine that is capable of generating about 81.83 bhp of power with 114.7 Nm of torque. Whereas, the diesel version is powered by 1.4 Liter engine that is capabe of geenrating about 88.74 bhp power with about 220 Nm of torque. The Hyundai i20 Active is offered at a starting price tag of about Rs. 6.38 Lakhs.
