Earlier this year, Honda had announced to enter an all-new segment with a new scooter that will be showcased at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. The company is currently working on the PCX150 scooter, but a few reports claim that the company might also preview a new electric scooter that is said to be under-development. However, the company hasn’t yet officially commented on the scooter.

Honda’s new Metropolitan-based electric scooter will compete against the Hero Leap hybrid scooter that features a petrol-electric engine with a rechargeable battery management system.
