As we head towards the festive season, automakers are offering special editions or discounts on several products. The results are due to come in, however everyone wants to enhance their numbers. For this reason, Maruti is offering Onam edition Alto 800, Datsun has got the GO NXT to please more car buyers.

      Hyundai Creta

On the other side, Hyundai is clearly focusing on its premium range of products like the i20, i20 Active and of course the Creta. While the competition is offering various schemes to attract buyers, Hyundai is purely working on increasing its manufacturing to reduce the waiting period on these products. Hyundai has been able to establish itself as a premium brand, while for Maruti Suzuki it is still work in progress. The Ciaz is doing some good numbers for the company and it has an array of premium products that will be launched in the coming years.

Hyundai’s strategy of making good designs and feature-loaded models has worked well for them since the introduction of the Verna Fluidic in 2011. The Korean automaker has got decent success with the Elantra and the Verna had outpaced the old City in sales numbers. Maruti Suzuki still has to have a stronger presence in these segments and Nexa is the company’s strategy for the same.

After the success of the first-generation i10 and i20, Hyundai has accelerated its sales with the new-generation models. Hyundai has been very aggressive with the product life cycle and in the last decade Maruti Suzuki has been doing something similar. Hyundai’s next product in-line is the new MPV that will be competing with the Ertiga and will be based on the Grand i10 platform. This will be launched in 2016. Other than that, it will be introducing AMT on the Eon and the i10 range.
