The much awaited crossover from Hyundai named Elite i20 Cross is likely to be launched on 9th March in India. The vehicle has reportedly been spotted on numerous occasions undergoing test near the company's facility in Chennai. Post launch the vehicle is likely to emerge as a strong competitor against Toyota's Etios Cross, VW Cross Polo and the Fiat's Avventura.
As seen in test mules the vehicle is likely to sport an extra cladding and skirting. The vehicle may sport a higher ground clearance and may feature a larger set of wheels in the top of the line trim. The crossover from Hyundai shall also feature a stylish set of roof rails. The vehicle shall be available in petrol as well as diesel trims wherein the petrol version may derive power from 1.2 Liter engine whereas the 1.4 liter engine may power the diesel trim. Pricing aspect has not been revealed for now, but based on anticipation it is likely to priced at around Rs. 50,000 extra over the existing trim.
