Interestingly, the limited edition GT250R marks first anniversary celebration of Hyosung owners club, Hy-Ryders. Notably, Hyosung is also looking forward to unveil two new motorcycles in the country in 2014. The first one is GD250N while the other is Aquila 250 cruiser. According to reports, these two bikes are likely to be showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo. Furthermore, Hyosung also plans to starts its own manufacturing facility in India by 2015-2016, sources have claimed.

Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK Motowheels, in an interview, said, “Driven by popular demand from our discerning customers, we decided to introduce this signature edition of the GT250R. What better way to introduce this faired beast than the 1st anniversary of our exclusive superbike club, the Hy-Ryders. We are overwhelmed by the support shown by the owners club, and are committed to delivering maximum value and excitement for them in the years to come.”

Reportedly, Hyosung would be only manufacturing 50 units of the signature edition, GT250 R Limited Edition bike. The company has given several new additions in the bike which includes exterior personalisation like graphics. The 250 cc bike boasts of a heavy duty fully faired muscular body for an impressive stance. This motorcycle is biggest in the 250 cc category and as such, is also known as 'The Big Boy'. Some features of this bike are twin projector headlamps, double disk front brakes, upside down forks, EFI and the adjustable rear sets.
