Japanese car giant Honda is all set to offer the cheapest car it has ever produced, the Honda Brio. The car is believed to have been produced with the aid of ace engineering and expertise, exclusively to match the expectations of the Indian consumers who look for best quality at an apt price.

Indian auto market is all set to welcome the Brio being introduced on the Indian soil. It is strongly believed that the recent feedback regarding the pros and cons of the upcoming car are quite favourable for the carmaker Honda. Many of the websites have also rated the car quite high. The major reason that contributed to the excellent rating is the simplicity that has been displayed in every corner of the car. Other positive attributes that followed were its fuel efficiency, realistic approach of the design and spacious interiors.

The new car from the Japanese car giant possesses a highly controlled, driver-centric handling and swift performance. The car can generate a maximum power of 87 bhp along with torque delivery of about 109 Nm. In addition, the Honda Brio is equipped with a single-cam VTEC 1.2 litre engine. Moreover, Brio weighs quite less than the standard weight of the vehicles falling under the same segment. Furthermore, the idea about the pace it provides is made available through the fact that the car reaches a speed of around 97 kmph within the time duration of 12.5 seconds. The Honda Brio offers a maximum speed of around 160 kmph.

The car delivers optimum performance without losing out on safety and quality features.  The Brio is armed with automatic controls that one expects from high range vehicles, such as ABS, electronic brake distribution and airbags that function in accordance with the driver’s weight. With respect to the looks of the car, Brio has been inspired by the popular Honda Jazz. This aspect of the car is reflected through the contour of the bonnet and the headlamps that are designed in a way that they revert to the body. The design team claims that it has utilised what they term as a ‘Double Triangle’ form for this stylish car.

The alloys being affixed to the car are surely not the standard alloys, rather these are the high range versions. In addition to its compact size, a fit body with a decent weight, it carries a reasonable price tag. The starting price of the new Honda creation is expected to be around Rs. 3.99 lacs or less. On the other hand, the top-end version, comprising ABS and airbags, is believed to be priced at around Rs. 4.6 lacs. Therefore, the next name for affordability is Honda Brio.

Honda Brio has been scheduled for launch on 27th September 2011 and with its revelation, India would be the only auto market after Thailand that would boast of this competitively priced car. Thus, with the launch of its affordable Honda Brio, Honda is all set to maximise its Indian car market share like never before.
