General Motors India has stated that they have exported 7661 Chevrolet Beat vehicles to markets in Central and South America in September 2016.

“We are proud of our hardworking and professional employees, who can celebrate this milestone for the highest number of exports for Beat,” said Srini Rajagopalan, Vice President, Planning and Exports, GM India.

Chevrolet’s Beat rolls out of GM India’s manufacturing plant at Talegaon in Maharashtra, and is rebadged as the Spark for the international market. GM proudly admitted that they have sold more than one million units in over 70 markets around the world. The company exports the left hand drive Beat to countries like Mexico, Chile, Peru, Central American and Caribbean Countries (CAC), Uruguay and Argentina.

“This milestone is a testament to our commitment to provide the highest quality standards to global customers from our state-of-the-art Talegaon plant. Whether it is in India or anywhere else in the world, General Motors follows the highest quality standards in its manufacturing processes providing same high-quality vehicles that customers in India and around the world expect and deserve,” added Srini.
