The Delhi Auto Expo that kickstarts on 5th January 2012 will have some of the biggest names in the automobile industry. Ferrari S.p.A and Maserati are included in the list of manufacturers that would be showcasing their products at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo. While the former would display all the models of Ferrari, namely FF, 458 Italia and California, the latter would present its Quattroporte at the mega show.
The new FF model is equipped with the powerful V12 engine that is capable of generating power up to 651 hp and race up to a maximum speed of 335 kmph. The presence of four-wheel drive mechanism in the FF distinguishes it from other Ferrari models. This feature results in better cornering stability, performance and grip. The FF model by Ferrari comes with the heavy price tag of Rs. 3.4 crores in India.
Of all the cars manufactured by Ferrari S.p.A, the California model is the cheapest, costing Rs. 2.2 crore. Another model by Ferrari is the 458 Italia, which was launched worldwide in the Spider form a short while back. This model has peak power of 570 bhp owing to its V8 engine that is capable of delivering speed of 325 kilo meter per hour. Seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is also installed in the 458 Italia, which is responsible for smooth gear changes. However, the 458 Italia is not for the people who are looking for classic manual transmission. This model is considered as the world’s best super car and bears a price tag of Rs. 2.5 crores.
Italian luxury car manufacturer, Maserati will also be showcasing its Rs. 1.2 crores model, Quattroporte at the Delhi Auto Expo 2012. The Maserati Quattroporte has been listed among world’s most beautiful cars as its style theme combines traditional and modern aesthetics.
