      Yamaha is looking forward to take its scooter range to the next level with the addition of a new scooter in the 110 cc category. This has been named D’elight, as per the reports. It was recently spied in India completely undisguised, which led to the rumours that the manufacturer might launch it soon. It is not much known when the scooter will be launched; however, going by the popularity of the scooter, it might be launched pretty soon.

      The scooter has been provided with chrome-rimmed headlamps, a neat instrument cluster with clean body lines. Incidentally, the scooter has been provided an old school retro look. Powered by a mono-cylinder, 114 cc air-cooled mill, which produces 7.1 bhp as well as 7.6 Nm of torque. With a telescopic fork suspension setup as well as 180 mm single disc front brake, the scooter gets a fuel injection in Europe. The nation might get a carburetted variant to keep the price in check.

      Yamaha had imported a number of units of D’elight sometime earlier this year for the process of homologation process. The scooter was spotted even at the Automotive Research Association in Pune. The top in-line scooters in India comprise Alpha, Ray, Ray-Z and along with the D’elight, Yamaha hopes to attract young audience, who are looking for a premium scooter. It is expected to be priced around the 50000 to 55000 INR bracket. It is expected to compete with the likes of Honda Activa 125, Access from Suzuki.
