Toyota, the Japanese car manufacturer, that unveiled the facelifted Camry sedan at the 2014 Moscow International Motor Show, is now planning to launch the sedan in the Indian car market. The updated saloon gets visual makeover and added features.

The 2015 Camry facelift is equipped with new front fascia with big lower grille, which largely resembles the facelifted Corolla saloon. Its thinner upper chromed grille is flanked by new LED-infused headlights. The front also gets massive air intake and new fog lamps in rectangular shape with chrome inserts. At the rear, the updated Camry has re-sculpted bumper and a new chrome strip that runs across the width. The flared wheel arches of the sedan have been fitted to newly styled alloy wheels.

The interiors of the Camry facelift get new upholstery for seats and new features. It is equipped with new backlit instrument panel and a 4.2-inch color TFT display. The other additions include multi-functional steering wheel, wireless mobile charger, automatic beams, heated rear seats, and new infotainment system. Its centre console features a new 6.1-inch or 7.0-inch screen for the new multimedia system.

The India-bound model will continue to feature the current petrol and petrol-hybrid engines. At Moscow Show, the company also introduced a new base 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol unit that produces 150bhp. This engine is coupled to a six-speed automatic gearbox. The car accelerates to 100kmph from zero in 10.4 seconds.
