The 12th edition of Auto Expo Motor Show will be held at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. It has been organised by ACMA (Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India), CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) and SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers). Recently, SIAM gave details about the entire Auto Expo 2014, which includes the layout design as well.
According to the available information, Auto Expo 2014, a two-part extravaganza, is scheduled to be held at different venues between 6th and 11th February, 2014. SIAM has reportedly disclosed some key information about this upcoming auto show. It revealed that one show refers will feature automotive manufacturers while the other will see the participation of component manufacturers. Notably, this is the first occasion when these two shows will be held at different locations.
As mentioned before, Auto Expo Motor Show 2014 will be hosted at India Expo Mart from 7th till 11th February. On the other hand, the 12th Auto Expo on components will be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, between 6th and 9th February. The media will be given exclusive access on 5th and 6th February.
SIAM mentioned that India Expo Mart has an added advantage over Pragati Maidan due to availability of ultra modern facilities. Event managers will be able to use these facilities to build modern enclosures, wherein manufacturers can easily put their new and existing products on display. Notably, India Expo Mart is spread across an area of over 58 acres and the exhibition area is around 60,000 sq. metres. Furthermore, all exhibition halls will offer Wi-Fi access and will be under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. Convention facilities, business lounges, VIP lounges, business centre, restaurants, food courts, parking area, storage and warehouse facilities will be present at the venue as well.
The Auto Expo Motor Show 2014 will showcase vehicles across different segments from both, Indian and foreign brands. Some major auto companies that will make their presence at this show are Datsun, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Fiat, Maruti Suzuki and Volkswagen.
The Greater Noida Venue will have 14 exhibition halls, 3 outdoor hangers and 6 entry and exit gates along with an outdoor area for activities and food stalls. Elaborate security arrangements have been made to ensure hassle-free proceedings at both venues.
