The prototypes of this vehicle showcased at Eurosatory were featured with IMI’s ‘Bright Arrow’ remote weapons station. This technology happens to be an electro-optical jammer, which can destroy or disrupt the path of incoming rocket-propelled grenades and missiles. Coming to the off-roading capabilities of this gigantic vehicle, the CombatGuard sports 54-inch tires and ground clearance of about 3 feet, that enables the vehicle to navigate around 70-degree slopes without much difficulty. The vehicle can easily bear vertical obstacles till 2.6-feet height and can make path through a water level of 5-feet. While being on-road, CombatGuard can clock a top speed of 93 mph whereas during off-roads it can reach speeds up to 75 mph. These figures are achieved owing to the GM-sourced ‘Cobra’ turbo diesel engine, which has a displacement of 6.5-liter and churns out a maximum power of 300 bhp.

CombatGuard can easily house 8 occupants in a super strong monocoque capsule, which renders a high level of protection from bullets and firearms. In order to enhance the safety level, the exteriors of this vehicle have been reinforced to deflect the land mines.
