Looking at the growing demand towards diesel engine fitted vehicles due to attractive fuel economy, General Motors has confirmed that it will introduce the diesel version of its most successful hatchback Chevrolet Beat by June, 2011.
Company’s Vice President. P Balendran had earlier said, that Beat’s diesel variant will come to the market equipped with a 1.0 L engine. The assembling of the coming variant will be done in company’s Talegaon plant in Maharashtra.
