Reports of a man being hit by Union railway minister DV Sadanand Gowda's cavalcade have been flowing in. As per F K Jogal, Police Inspector, “An unknown bike-rider was hit by one of the cars when he mistakenly intrude into the cavalcade of Union Railway Minister D V Sadanand Gowda.” The incident reportedly occurred when the minister along with other senior railway officials was driving to Circuit house Annexe from Sabarmati railway station.
Jogal clarified that ministers cars were not involved in the accident, but due to the invasion by the unknown intruder, three to four cars belonging to railway officials have been damaged in the incident. Police learned about the incident from onlookers account and the man could not be identified. It is said that he stood up and rode away. It is said that man believed he could drive along with the cavalcade, but some sources have also stated that some cars belonging to railway officials deliberately hit the bike. The case is under investigation and more details on the issue is unknown for now.
