One of the fastest cars in the world, Bugatti Veyron, is coming to India tihs month and will flaunt a price tag of Rs. 12 crores. The model will be a completely built unit directly imported from Italy. Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is one of the costliest cars in the world and is ready to be owned by Indian millionaires soon. The model is expected to be launched on 28 October 2010.
“The car is slated for launch soon but we cannot disclose its price and other specifications,” said Satya Bagla, managing director of Exclusive Motors, which is the official dealer of the legendary car brand in India. “There are a few customers for Bugatti, but again their identities cannot be revealed now,” he added.
Bugatti is inspired by success of Maybach and Rolls Royce in the country. According to Asia Pacific Wealth Report, released by Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management and Capgemini reveals there are 1.27 lakh individuals in the country who have at least $1 million investible assets. “The HNI customers are getting younger and they want to enjoy their money with the huge legacy associated with legendary brands,” said Deepesh Rathore, managing director at market research firm IHS Global Insight.
