Exteriors of BMW 5 Series have been pepped-up and as such, the new version is expected to flaunt additional contour lines at surround of model's kidney grille, newly structured lower air intakes, front fog lamps with extra chrome surrounds, extra crease on rear apron, revised rear lights and new alloys. Also, like its global version, customers and car lovers in India are keenly looking forward to see xenon headlights as standard on all variants. The new BMW 5 Series version is also expected to get highly sought after adaptive LED headlights along with LED fog lamps.

According to sources, interiors too are expected to get some minor updates for a more stylised cabin. The new BMW 5-Series is likely to get chrome strip border on its iDrive system. Rear portion of this luxury car will feature increased boot space of 500 litres; quite notably, an increase by 60 litres. The currently available BMW 5 Series has been offered in two engine options, petrol and diesel. Customers can avail this sedan at a retail price that ranges between Rs. 39.5 lakh and Rs. 58.00 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
