The second edition of India Bike Week (IBW), the biggest congregation of bikers in India, will be held in Goa on January 17 and 18 in 2014. Event planners, Seventy Event Media Group and Fox Traveller have come together to organise the annual festival of bikes, music and entertainment. The event aims at making it the largest rally of bikers in the country and would bring along everyone together, the cruisers, the super bikers, and cafe racers. It is expected that around 10,000 fans and celebrities would gather in Goa to witness this festival. This is going to be a two-day event that would showcase new bikes launches, products and accessories.

The 2013 event saw about 6547 bike enthusiasts and more than 3,000 bikers from all over the nation gather for this extravaganza. It showcased three concert stages, five bars, 28 live bands and DJs, 16 cage fighters, bike build-off, international stunt specialist Mattie Griffin and numerous custom-made bikes. The festival also featured a big trip cinema, stunt arena, biker flea market, vintage and custom bikes on display, an extensive expo area and Dirt Track Racing, setting the stage of this biking festival on fire.

“In 2013, we set out to create the largest Festival for Bikers and Bike fans in India’s history, and we were overwhelmed by the response. We’ve been working all year to create the second India Bike Week, and it’s looking amazing already. This is already India’s biggest carnival for all hardcore bikers, fans of the two-wheeler way of living, travellers and India’s many music and festival fans,” said Martin da Costa, Chief Executive Officer, 70 EMG while interacting with media. They are in talks with several national and international bike clubs of India, bikers, brands, customisers, accessory manufacturers, artistes and musicians so as to make the event a success. He quoted the event as a 'great party' that would include all the elements of fun and excitement.

The event planners are quite enthusiastic about the second leg of India’s leading biking festival India Bike Week at Goa, also referred to as biker heaven. It is an attempt to bring along people from all over the world with the same passion on a common platform. This venture hopes to inspire a new generation of bike lovers and make this event a grand one for the biking community of the country. In order to lure maximum buyers, an early bird discount of 10 per cent would be offered till October 31st. The first 1500 buyers would also receive complementary goodies like IBW T-shirts.
