The Indian arm of Bentley, a globally renowned British luxury super car maker and subsidiary of German auto major Volkswagen Group, has launched its Continental GT Speed model in domestic market on February 4, 2013. Pegged as the 'Fastest Bentley car ever made', the Continental GT Speed coupe was unveiled by the Exclusive Motors in the country. The Exclusive Motors India is known for their association with Bentley, Lamborghini and Bugatti.
The stunning newly arrived Bentley Continental GT Speed coupe is in its second generation avatar with its launch having been announced in June 2012. At present, Exclusive Motors has kept the price tag of the new Bentley hidden in wraps but it won't be too long before the actual retail price surfaces in the market.
Coming to under-the-hood specifications of the 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed luxury coupe, the super car comes fitted with a 6.0 litre W12 powertrain, which produces a peak power output of 616 bhp and a maximum torque delivery of 800 Nm. The powerful engine comes mated with a cutting-edge 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission system. The 2nd generation Continental GT Speed boasts off a mind numbing acceleration of 0 to 100 kmph in just 4 seconds, besides being capable of reaching a top speed of 329 kmph.
