Bajaj has updated its flagship model, Pulsar model in India. The Pulsar 200NS has been introduced with some cosmetic upgrades. Apart from these, there are not many notable modifications on the technical specifications. Those who were expecting a fuel injection engine in the Pulsar might be in for heartbreak, as there is a less probability of such an occurrence. However, it can be concluded that the changes will be also made in the upcoming 200SS models, as well.
The new Pulsar 200NS will be powered by a 200 cc, four-stroke, four-valve engine, which has three spark plugs. The engine is capable of generating 23.5 PS of power and a peak torque of 18.3 Nm. Power is transmitted to the wheels via a six-speed gearbox. However, the best thing about Bajaj Pulsar 200NS is that it is priced below the one-lakh tag, thus making it more affordable. Even if there might be some new colours for the bike, the chances of increasing the price are less.
Bajaj has given special focus on making the new model an attractive buy for its fans. It has been ergonomically designed and perfectly structured to give a greater and convenient handling. The centre of gravity has been lowered to make room for a better balance. These aspects have contributed in making the bike suitable for longer as well as shorter trips. The steel perimeter frame and box swing section arm provides the Pulsar 200NS a greater handling prowess. All these factors will definitely give Pulsar 200NS a cutting edge above the other models. Definitely, the new bike has it in itself to take on against its contemporaries in the segment. The price of the new bike has been tagged at 85690 INR (ex-showroom, Delhi).
