Audi Q3 S launched at Rs 24.37 lakh, bookings open at zero down payment

Audi India sprang surprise by spawning entry level Q3 S Edition in the domestic market. Audi is offering the new Q3 S at a competitive price of Rs 24.37 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) as compared to the earlier Rs 24.99 lakh. As per the company’s official website bookings are being accepted with zero down payments. The new Q3 S is now cheaper by Rs 62,000 from the previous version which was launched in India in August 2013. A massive slash in price and zero down payment booking offer is just perfect to lure customers.

Q3 S is a downsized version of Q3, the latest edition features a single framed grille and reworked bumpers. New Audi Q3 S is packed with a 2.0 litre diesel motor that pumps out a maximum power output of 143 Bhp along with a top torque of 320 Nm.Power is transmitted to the front wheels via six speed manual transmission. The SUV sprints from zilch to 100 kmph in a meagre 9.9 seconds. The 2.0 litre diesel engine is capable of returning a decent ARAI certified fuel economy of 17.71 kmpl.

Audi had to cut down on certain features likeQuattro four-wheel drive system and daytime running LED lampsto bring down the priceby Rs 62,000. Standard comfort features equipped in Q3 S include cruise control, parking sensors, driver information system and voice dialogue system. Significantsafety features present in the new Q3 include six airbags,electronic stabilization system, electromechanical parking brake and more.
