The Germany based leading luxury car maker Audi has finally uncovered its much awaited 2012 R8 LMS Ultra in the world market. The car carries a price tag of € 329,900 onwards and the company will start delivering the car to the interested customers by the month of March 2012.
Most of the designing cues of the car have been borrowed from previous generation R8 LMS GT3. However, a series of exciting changes have been made in the new car including a brand new hood, carbon fiber reinforced plastic doors,aggressive rear wings and wider 12 inch Michelin tyres. The newly added underbody is aerodynamically more efficient and adds to the performance of the car. The high energy absorbing foam has been embedded to the door to ensure full proof safety of the passengers.
Powered by a 5.2 liter V10 engine, the 2012 R8 LMS model is capable of delivering a peak power of 570 PS. The USP of the all new 2012 R8 LMS Ultra is its newly added safety features including all new PSI safety seats that offer maximum protection and also passes all the necessary requirements of safety.
In India, Audi is the third largest luxury car maker following BMW and Mercedes Benz at the first and second positions respectively.
