The city of Sturgis, S.D. is looking far into the future, much farther than we can even imagine. On the occasion of 75th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, the city officials took out the contract and signed Harley-Davidson, the famous motorcycle manufacturer, as its official bike. This contract has a long lasting tenure as it assured the partnership between the rally and bike maker for whopping 75 years.

Matt Levatich, the Chief Operating Officer at Harley-Davidson, stated that the company's fans have been riding in this rally for many years. He also said that they took this step to inspire more people to witness the freedom and rebellion of this gathering. The extension of this contract was followed by a proposal of building a permanent plaza on the Main Street of the city. This plaza will include a stage and area for the crowd. The stage will be acting for many purposes including the organization of concerts, events and even the wedding recitals.

The mayor of Sturgis also seemed to be happy by the decision. He announced that Harley-Davidson had been an active participant in the previous rallies, and he found extreme pleasure in announcing the official solidification of the contract between the two. It has also been announced that in order to mark the legacy of this agreement, the bricks of the plaza will be from the Milwaukee headquarters of the renowned corporation. This headquarter was once home to the factory of the company, about 100 years ago.

Harley-Davidson never seems to go out of class. The announcement of this agreement was also done in an extremely innovative manner at the company's headquarters, where a 2015 Harley-Davidson Street 750 Motorcycle was used to remove a brick from the front entrance of the historic building dated back a century. This, along with bricks from Harley-Davidson Museum, and from the headquarters’ motorcycle-only parking, will be transported to the city of Sturgis and that too on various Harley-Davidson bikes.

So those, who are real bike enthusiasts, and are probably the fans of Harley-Davidson, must visit the Sturgis Motorcycle rally. Needless to say, it would be great if you ride your Harley-Davidson to the rally, adding to the charm of the bikers present there. The party will begin on August 01, 2015.

Harley-Davidson needs no new introduction in terms of motorcycle manufacturers. There was a time when the creators of the company were in a dilemma of what to create and what to skip. After many alterations, they ended up customizing bikes. The demand of such bikes grew overnight, and they were the leaders of the bike manufacturer market within no time. This story obviously is many years old, but in the meantime, no compromise has been made to the build quality of the bikes, rendering these motorcycles, one of the most preferred throughout the world.
