Tata Motors created a storm this year with the launch of Zest sedan this year. The Indian carmaker proved its technological capabilities with the launch of much talked about Revotron engine earlier this year. Supported by strong sales report for Zest in the country, the sedan's popularity in the country speaks for itself. Tata Motors is intending to create a similar hype next year with the launch of Bolt hatchback sometime early next year.

The refreshingly new Revotron technology shall be carried onto the Bolt hatchback as well. The car is likely to be powered by the existing 1.2 MPFI petrol engine that is capable of generating about 83 bhp of power at 5000 rpm with 140 Nm of torque output. The Bolt hatchback from Tata Motors shall also get upgrades based on the innovative DESIGNEXT philosophy. A while ago sources had also managed to capture spy shots hinting that Tata Motors may render a orange colored dashboard in the new trim, though company is yet to confirm this. The car is also likely to receive the new AMT technology.

Apart from looks, buyers can also expect Tata Motors to provide a GPS enabled device in the hatchback along with audio acoustics system. For entertainment the hatchback may sport an infotainment system. As for safety, you can be assured that Tata may mate the car with safety features like EPAS, Active Return function, speed sensitive power steering and ABS.
