Indian customers are eagerly waiting for the launch of German’s leading automobile manufacturer Audi’s 2011 Audi A6. The company is planning to launch this upgraded model in the country on 2011 August 3rd as was officially announced by Audi itself.
This new Audi A6 2011 will be available in both petrol and diesel versions with four variants. The petrol variant will come with 3.2-liter engine whereas the diesel variants will come with 2.0 liter TDi engine with the capacity to churn out peak power of 177 bhp and maximum torque of 360 nm and 3.0-Liter turbo diesel Quattro engines. Apart from that, new 2011 Audi A6 is equipped with other special key features like seven speed duel clutch gearbox, stop/start mechanism, longer wheel base than existing one and so on.
As far as 2011 Audi A6 exterior is concerned, the car is pretty wide and longer than the current version and it comes with 30 kgs lesser weight with lower roofline. The overall weight of this luxury sedan is just 1575 kgms and so the riding and handling will be pretty smooth and the car will be more fuel-efficient.
Furthermore, its flat headlamps are more or less similar to BMW. Overall, the new Audi 6 is more compact, sporty and aggressive.
The CKD kits for new Audi A6 were imported long back to the country and the production was almost completed at Audi’s Aurangabad Assembly plant. Recently, the company also launched a teaser website called www.audi-a6.in for new 2011 Audi A6 and it plans to release at least 2000 Audi A6 unit per year.
As far as Audi A6 2011 prices are concern, it is expected that the cost of this car may range between 30 lacs and 40 lacs. The actual price is yet to be announced and hopefully we will get the price in a couple of days.
