Hyundai has recently displayed a crossover, christened as the Enduro Concept, on the occasion of the 11th Seoul Motor Show. The manufacturer has put forward this stylish and bold Crossover Utility vehicle (CUV). The new car gives a clear insight into the brand new design philosophy. However, there have been no reports as to when this new model will hit the streets.
Enduro is all about endurance and the car structure and design depict the same. The car is ideally developed on the platform of a SUV and is ideal for energetic and sporty people, who like their cars to be the same.
The bold design of this concept car has clearly indicated towards what it is targeting and will inspire drivers to think out of the box. The only resemblance with the current generation of Hyundai cars is the hexagonal grill. However, the concept car revealed a lower stance, throwing some light on the newer approach. A raised ground clearance with large chunks of fender claddings on the rear and front wheel arches also grabbed the attention. So was seen, the grey garnish at the lower parts of the car. The aerodynamic aspects of the car will surely be improved because of the C-pillar mounted spoilers.
Hyundai has said that Enduro combines a rally motorcycle with a SUV. The steering wheel has quite some resemblance with a motorcycle handlebar. The door handles incidentally, have an image of an off-road motorcycle. The trunk turns into a flexible and durable space with drawer style storage, which adds on to the versatility with room for a variety of lifestyle and sports equipment.
