The facelift version of Renault Duster has been introduced in the Brazilian auto market. Renault has only made visual changes in the new version of Duster, which is also likely to be launched in India. Notably, Brazil and India are the two largest markets for the Renault Duster, which has done really well in both the countries. Also, changes made to this version of car are different from the one given to the new Dacia variant.

It has redone interiors that feature new instrument console, touchscreen infotainment system and steering wheel with audio mounted controls. The Eco drive mode has been offered in the new Duster launched in Brazil.

Renault has not made any sort of alterations to the mechanical configuration of the new Duster. It will be available in two flex fuel variants that are powered by 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre engines, respectively. Also, both these versions come with automatic and manual transmission options. The price ranges between INR 12.29-15.38 lacs approx.

Notably, the Renault Duster was updated and launched with a minor upgrade, which included the Eco Drive mode, cruise control, soft touch plastics and improved seat fabric. However, all changes came in the form of features and not any in terms of its appearance.

Several compact Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) are present in the Indian market and the competition is indeed getting tougher, which means that Renault shall indeed need to be on its toes in order to ensure the excellent performance of Duster. Sources claim that this version will be launched in the Indian market pretty soon and Renault is likely to retain the original mechanical configuration of this car.
