The immense popularity of diesel cars in India is not a new story as this culture has been existing since past over a decade now. New technologies unveiled in the diesel engines have made these cars more soundproof, efficient and fun to ride. These days an auto maker cannot solely rely on a petrol variant of its model, and therefore has to offer it in both guise. This trend can be perceived after glancing through the portfolios of all the big domestic and global auto giants. The diesel engines are present in all the segments, be it hatchbacks, sedan cars or Multi Purpose Vehicles (MPV). Among these segments, the most optimal for domestic buyers is the sedan cars section.
