The Yamaha YZF-R15 S continues to be powered by 149.8cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, petrol engine that generates about 17Bhp of power with 15Nm of torque . The fairly powered engine is mated to a six-speed transmission. For sporty and comfortable handling the bike gets a deltabox frame with telescopic fork suspension for the front, whereas the rear wheel gets monoshock system.
The YZF-R15 S from Yamaha is available in three interesting colours - Adrenalin Red, Track White, and Spark Green. For complete control, the bike gets disc brakes on both wheels. Speaking on the occasion, Roy Kurian, Vice President- Sales & Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales, said, “Yamaha R15 is a pure sports vehicle designed especially for racing enthusiasts so that they can experience the power and passion that a sports bike has to offer. However, our research showed that a particular customer segment desired for a single seat version as it is more convenient for the pillion rider.”
