Sources have recently spotted the Yamaha Nozza Grande scooter undergoing road test in Chennai India, where the company has been planning on commensing operations at their second plant. The scooter codenamed ’04X’ is likely to emerge as a strong contender in the 125cc automatic scooter segment in India.
The Japanese bikemaker has not spoken on the technical detail or pricing aspect for now and more details about the vehicle may only be known at the time of official unveiling by the company sometime later. Based on anticipation the scooter is likely to be powered by 125 cc air-cooled 4 stroke CVT petrol engine that is likely to deliver a fuel efficieny figure of about 54 km/l. The sccooter is likely to receive a LED headlamp and smooth styled design. The scooter is likely to be priced somewhere between Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 60,000.
