      Upcoming Bugatti Veyron likely to get electric turbochargers that shall generate 1500 HP

      Bugatti Veyron has been a popular choice in the performance car segment. Known for its sheer performance output combined with stunning design makes it indeed a value for money deal for its buyers. News has been doing rounds that the company may launch the newer trim named 'Chiron' loaded with electric turbochargers that is capable of generating about 1500 HP of power.

      The company has not reveled much of technical specification for now, but if reports are to be believed the upcoming Bugatti Veyron Chiron is likely to be powered by the existing 8.0-litre, W12 engine that shall be blessed with direct injection technology and high pressure electric turbo chargers that shall be capable of generating the super impressive 1500 HP output. With this enormous amount of power beneath the car's hood, you can expect the vehicle to clock a 100 km/ph from a standstill in just about 2.5 seconds. The upcoming trim is reportedly capable of attaining a top speed of about 463 km/hr.

      On the design front, the Bugatti Veyron Chiron shall continue to be based on the existing style, except for slight upgrades to make it an enhanced performance oriented machine. Overall, the vehicle shall be lighter than the existing version and shall also have more space in the interior for its occupants. Pricing aspect of the new trim is also unknown for now and shall be known at the time of official launch announcement made by the company in this regard. The vehicle is not expected to be launched anytime sooner than 2016.
