      TVS Adventure spotted undergoing tests at a developmental stage

      Indian bikemaker TVS is swiftly gaining momentum in the Indian two wheeler segment. Recently TVS had launched the upgraded version of its popular Wego scooter loaded with a set of interesting features. Currently, TVS reportedly holds the third position in domestic sales, behind Honda and Hero Motocorp leading the race. This time around TVS has been spotted testing the Adventure 125 that shall feature on-off roading capabilities.

      The yet to launched TVS Adventure 125 is expected to be powered by 125cc, four-stroke, air-cooled engine that is capable of generating about 11bhp of power with 1.1kgm of torque outputs. For off-roding capabilities the bike is equipped with long-travel telescopic suspension for the front, whereas the rear sports longer stroke TVS multi-rated ‘series spring’ shock absorbers. The front rim feature larger diameter for easy roll, whereas the rear wheels are spoke equipped for durability.

      The upcoming TVS Adventure sports an upright riding position. The chain has been left exposed whereas the alloys have been used for the footrest. For complete control the front wheel gets a disc brake, whereas the rear gets a drum version. For a well balanced ride, the TVS Adventure gets a tubular steel frame that meets a box section steel swingarm at the rear.
