Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced yet another voluntary recall for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The third recall for the model in the last two months is for the units of the mid-size SUV manufactured between 8 August 2022 and 15 November 2022.

According to Toyota, a total of 4,026 units of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder have been recalled to investigate a possible issue with the rear seatbelt assembly. The company will inspect all the vehicles under this recall campaign, and the concerned part will be replaced free of charge for its customers.

Toyota's dealer representatives will also contact individual customers for the necessary replacement of the part. TKM had previously recalled its mid-size SUV in January 2023 and December 2022 due to a defect in the airbag controller unit, and front seat-belt-shoulder height adjuster plate assembly respectively.
