Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd the ancillary of Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation reported to have reached the one millionth mark for vehicle sales within the country. The one millionth customer for the Toyota is from the city of Cochin. N Raja, senior Vice President, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “The sale of Toyota's one millionth car in India marks a very important milestone for us. Since its inception, Toyota has been present in the MPV/SUV segment in India and we have been market leaders ever since in these segments. It is only in 2011 that we forayed into the mass segment with the Etios & Liva and still have been able to realize this milestone in such a short duration.”
To usher in the celebration mood on attaining the millionth sale milestone, the Toyota Kirloskar Motor has come up with attractive sales scheme for the month of March 2014. Officials from the company said, "Customers can either avail benefits of up to Rs 40,000 or choose from attractive finance schemes (low rate of interest / 100% on road funding) through its subsidiary finance arm, Toyota Financial Services, India." The finance scheme is definitely expected to boost up the car sales across different segments offered from the Japanese car-maker. N. Raja, added, “As we achieve this significant landmark, I would like to thank our valuable customers, dealer partners, employees and suppliers for their support and commitment. We will continue to focus our efforts in bringing Toyota’s globally renowned QDR products to the Indian market.”

As per sources, bookings are open and interested buyers can make a down payment of Rs. 50,000 as a booking amount. The Toyota Corolla is the 11th generation of the legendary sedan. The new vehicle comes with a revolutionary new style, luxurious and comfortable interiors and a dynamic performance. The refreshing new feel is aimed at delighting more customers. Overall, the new Toyota Corolla Altis is designed longer by extending the wheelbase up to 100 mm and stretched slightly wider than its predecessor.
