Maruti Suzuki has recently been announced to be the Top Car Company providing the best Customer Satisfaction. Carrying on the legacy of this title, Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch the new variant of the previous best selling Alto, going by the name, Alto K10. With the very popular tagline, “Let’s go in an Alto”, a few things can be surely expected from this low budget car.

With just a few days remaining for the launch of this vehicle, the domestic population has been awiting for its launch in high anticipation. The Alto K10’s engine is said to be a 1L 3-cylinder K-series engine deriving power from the three piston-cylinder arrangements. The maximum power of about 68 ps and torque of 90 Nm can be achieved from this car. This would make this car, an ideal piece of art for the people wishing to buy a middle-budgeted car.

Another expected thing in the engine is the Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), which eliminates the use of clutch pedal. An automated computer system detects the need of dispensing the clutch and performs it automatically while gear shifting is made.

The interiors of this car have been refurbished and redesigned in such a manner that it becomes more ergonomic and attractive for people to invest their money on it. This K Series version of Maruti Suzuki Alto also has a newly designed front grill design and headlamps, wheel caps, front power windows, central locking system etc.

This car is expected to be launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 2.8 to Rs. 3.6 lakhs. It is also expected that this car is going to be a tough competition for Datsun Go just after its launch. Maruti Suzuki Alto has been one of the least priced car in India ever since and now, after the launch of Alto K10, both of them will be a couple of cars in the list of least budgeted cars of India.
