Tata Motors has announced that the Nexon has crossed 25,000 units production milestone In India. The 25,000th unit of the SUV was produced at their Ranjangaon facility recently.
The compact SUV had reached the 10,000 units sales landmark in just over two months since its launch. Now, with the increase in demand, Tata Motors planned to hike the production at their Ranjangaon plant. They have managed to produce these 25,000 units in a little over five months and want to cater to prospective buyers as soon as possible.
The Tata Nexon was launched in India on 21 September 2017 and is still the newest car in the sub-four metre SUV space. It is also the most affordable amongst rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Honda WR-V and the Ford EcoSport. The ex-showroom price of the Nexon's petrol models is between Rs 5.68-8.59 lakhs, while the diesel versions are priced between Rs 5.85-9.44 lakhs.
