Tata Motors has taken a to good start this year as compared to the previous one. The company has reported a 10.69% increase in total sales with 44,225 units reported in February this year, as against 39,951 units reported in the same month last year. The company's domestic sale for passenger and commercial vehicle has also grown by 14.15% at 40,314 units as compared to 35,315 units reported in February last year.
Domestic market sales for passenger vehicles in the month of February has gone up by 21.56% with 13,767 units as against 11,325 units in February last year. Speaking more on the occasion, the company said, “The trend of growth in passenger vehicles continued with the strong Zest sales and good response to the all-new Bolt.”
Exports for February this year noted 3,911 units as against 4,636 units exported last year. The numbers are indeed 15.63% lower than the previous year. As for the commercial vehicle segment the domestic vehicle sales stood at 26,547 units.
