Tata Motors chose to mark Valentine’s Day this year by rolling out the latest edition of its smallest car, called 2012 Tata Nano Valentine Edition. Launched by the Indian car maker in Goa, it is a modified version of Nano CX variant with some new features to attract buyers.

Available at a price of Rs. 2.06 lacs, the car features MP3/audio system with USB support, phone holder stand, fog lamps and remote central locking. It also has air freshener, matting and mud flaps, protective sun film and exterior graphics that draw inspiration from the spirit of the Valentine's Day. The company has decided to produce only 20 units of the Valentine Edition model in two colour options – Neon Rush (green) and Rouge Red.

It has the same 624 cc petrol engine that powers the Nano variants already available in the market. The motor assimilated in the car is capable of delivering maximum power of 37 hp and highest torque of 51 Nm.

Nano remains Tata Motors' most ambitious project, with a huge market potential. With the distinction of being the world's most affordable car, Nano was expected to become a huge hit in India. However, it has been unable to lure buyers, though sales volumes have increased in recent times on Year-over-Year basis.
