      Tata launches new Vista at Rs.3.88 - Rs.4.79 lakh

      The Indian automobile giant Tata Motors has rolled-out a new version of its popular hatchback Vista in the Indian market. The company has launched the new Vista in both petrol and diesel versions, priced in the range of Rs.3.88 lakh and Rs.4.79 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

      In a statement issued on Tuesday, the company said, "Vista will come in four trim levels starting from Rs.3.88 lakh for the petrol range and from Rs.4.79 lakh for the quadrajet diesel range (ex-showroom Delhi)."

      The new model will be available at all showrooms of the company from September 1st. The diesel version is power by 1.3 litre common-rail direct injection Quadrajet diesel engine and the petrol engine is powered by a 1.4 litre MPFi Safire petrol engine with variable valve timing technology. The diesel and petrol versions of Vista are capable of generating a peak power of 75PS at 4,000 rpm and 90 PS at 6,000 rpm, respectively.

      While the diesel version of the new Vista Range will be delivering a mileage of 22.3 km per litre, the petrol version will offer an improved fuel economy of 16.7 km per litre.

      Moreover, the new Vista is blessed with new clutch-to-start technology, reducing the possibility of engine re-cranking. In a bid to ensure maximum safety of the passengers as well as of car, the company has offered a range of advanced safety features with the car including Antilock Braking System, airbags, crumple zones and side intrusion beams.
