Tata Motors made a new addition to its fleet of sedan cars as it launched Manza, a club class sedan, in an event in Karnataka on 29th October, 2012. The specifications of the car look impressive as the car is powered by a 90 PS engine, available in both quadrajet diesel and Safire petrol versions. The specifications were revealed by Prashant Sibal, Regional Manager (South), when he was addressing reporters during the launch event.

The fuel-efficient quadrajet diesel variant will return a mileage of 21.02 km per litre, while the safire petrol engine-powered Manza will deliver a mileage of 13.7 km per litre. As expected, Tata has competitively priced the cars with the starting range being Rs. 5.69 lacs for the safire petrol engine and Rs. 6.48 lacs for the Quadrajet diesel variant. Sibal further added that the car has a warranty of 2 years/75,000 km.

The new entrant will face stiff competition from other sedans like Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, Toyota Etios and Mahindra Verito. However, the biggest advantage for the car will be sales in the coming period as the festive season approaches.
