Tata Motors, the Indian auto major, has unveiled the Hexa crossover concept at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The concept previews the company's upcoming six-seater crossover, which is likely to be launched in 2016. Based on the Aria platform, the vehicle might come as a replacement for the slow-selling Aria.

Under the bonnet, the Hexa concept gets a 2.2-litre four-cylinder, VARICOR turbo-diesel engine that churns out a maximum power output of 154bhp and a peak torque of 400Nm. The concept measures 4764mm in length, 1895mm in width, 1,780mm in height, and has a large wheelbase of 2850mm.

The overall styling of the concept looks largely similar to the Aria; however, the company has made some changes to add some new flavour to it. It features a new honeycomb grille, flanked by projector headlamps. The grille has chrome accents, which shows the company's new design philosophy. Other additions include new fog lamps and restyled airdam. At the rear, the concept has new LED tail-lamps, new, dual-tone bumper and spoiler that add more to its sporty character. The flared wheel arches have been fitted to newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels.

The interiors of the new Hexa concept, also, look different and appealing. It offer six-seat configuration with all captain seats, new leather upholstery for seats with twin-needle stitching, etc.
