Ford does not want to do anything wrong with the brand image building activity in India. The American carmaker Ford has come up with the new Figo loaded with refreshingly new features at a lucrative price tag starting from Rs. 3.87 lakhs for the petrol variant, whereas the diesel version of Ford Figo starts from Rs. 4.83 Lakhs (Both Prices are ex-showroom Delhi based.
The new Ford Figo is powered by existing engine configuration but the vehicle gets quite interesting cosmetic upgrades like Smoky Stealth finish for the exterior with 14- inch Alloy Wheels, Fog Lamp Bezels, and Rear Bumper Valance. The new Figo comes with eight color options thereby giving buyers with more options to choose from - Panther Black, Kinetic Blue, Chill Metallic, Mars Red, Diamond White, Moondust Silver, Smoke Grey and Paprika Red. Pay a little extra amount of Rs. 2,199 and customers can avail of benefits under ‘Happy Pocket Service' offer for comprehensive scheduled service. During launch Vinay Piparsania, Executive Director Marketing, Sales and Service at Ford India, was quoted as saying, “Ford Figo has caught the imagination of first-time car buyers since its launch and continues to remain one of the most compelling offerings in its segment. Just as life keeps getting better, the enhancements made in Ford Figo make it more appealing for customers ahead of the festive season.” He further added, “The refinements to the updated Figo complement its superior performance, smart technology, uncompromising fuel-efficiency and competitive cost of ownership. With the refreshed look, we are adding even more style to the Figo, which is highly regarded as a reliable vehicle with an outstanding value-for-money proposition.”
The interior in the new Ford Figo has also been redone by the American carmaker. The car now reportedly carried an upmarket and stylish feel. In Cyber Blue trim of Ford Figo it gets dual-toned seat fabrics. The other variants gets features like two-layer satin aluminum finish, redesigned inner door handles and door pull caps for that enhanced appeal. The new Ford Figo with a an attractive price tag is definitely expected to pull a good amount of sales this year.
