SsangYong, the South Korean automaker, has revealed the official teaser video of the much-awaited Tivoli compact SUV. The company has recently revealed the sketches and official details of the crossover. Previously named as the X100 compact SUV, the Tivoli teaser video has been revealed ahead of its global premier in January next year.
The Ssangyong Tivoli compact SUV is basically the production version of the X100 concept, which was already showcased in several auto shows across the world. The pre-production version of the SUV was recently previewed at the 2014 Paris Motor Show as XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure. The compact SUV is scheduled to be launched in the Korean market in January 2015, followed by launch in Sri Lanka and other nations.
The recent rendering of the Tivoli compact SUV previews the modern and aggressive design language of the South Korean auto maker. Mahindra-Owned SsangYong also revealed the interiors detailing of the compact SUV, which shows a spacious and comfortable cabin space. According to the company, the Tivoli’s interiors offer an advanced infotainment system that provides easy connectivity to smartphones and tablets.
The SsangYong Tivoli compact SUV would be offered in both petrol and diesel fuel options- 1.6-litre units. It is slightly longer than 4 metres in length, while a seven-seater version of the crossover is also on cards. The compact SUV will compete against the likes of Hyundai ix25, Honda Vezel, Renault Duster and others.
