According to latest buzz, Yamaha India could unveil the production version of the FZ-S concept on June 30th, though there is no official confirmation on the unveiling yet but the company insiders maintain that they will unveil a new chapter. On June 30th Yamaha has organized a conference and it is being expected that the unveiling could be done during that.
The new FZ-S is said to be the replacement of current FZ model. Concept version of FZ-S was exhibited earlier this year at the 2014 Auto Expo held in Greater Noida. It is being believed that the production version of FZ-S will be insignificantly different from its concept form. The bike has mostly received cosmetic modifications like a reworked head light, new silencer, new mudguard, revamped fuel tank and a redesigned name plate.
Yamaha is expected to house the same 153 cc single cylinder, air-cooled engine that currently powers FZ. The motor is capable of belting out 14 Bhp and 13.6 Nm of torque. Speculations suggest that Yamaha has also inducted a fuel-injection system and enhanced the power. The company will spill the beans on June 30th at the conference; we will bring you more updates on the upcoming bike, till then watch this space for more information.
