Skoda India announced revised prices across its range of cars. Petrol range of Skoda’s Rapid sedan is now available for Rs 8.14 lakh to Rs 9.11 lakh, the diesel version trims on the hand are being offered at Rs 8.26 lakh to 9.21 lakh ( ex-showroom Delhi). Skoda’s Rapid sedan recently received a tweak and company has also discontinued the Ambition trim from its range.
The new Octavia that was launched in India in October 2013, is already garnering good sales, with a cut in its price range, Skoda can expect a further hike in sales. Octavia saloon is available for sale in both petrol and diesel variants. Octavia petrol is offered in two engine options-1.4 litre TSi and 1.8 litre TSI engines. The 1.4 petrol variants are now priced between Rs 13.95 lakh to Rs 14.95 lakh, 1.8 TSI petrol trims on the other hand are available for Rs 16.35 lakh to Rs 18.25 lakh. Diesel Octavia that comes powered with a 2.0 litre motor is priced between Rs 15.55 lakh to Rs 19.45 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Skoda’s premium SUV, Yeti is up for a modification, the revised version is said to be launched in India by the second half of 2014, once the facelift version of Yeti is launched its price will vary from the current variant. Yeti is available in two versions viz; 4x2 and 4x4, Yeti 4x2 variant is presently being offered between Rs 15.18 lakh to 15.99 lakh. Price for 4x4 version of the SUV ranges between Rs 17.16 lakh to Rs 19.45 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Company’s premium saloon Superb now comes for Rs 18.62 lakh to Rs 21.94 lakh for the petrol version and diesel version is available for Rs 23.07 lakh to Rs 24.80 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
