      Rolls Royce to open two new dealerships in India

      The high end luxury car maker Rolls Royce is eying to add two more dealers in its dealership network in the Indian auto market, where it already has 3 dealers located in major Indian cities. The company has recently inaugurated a new dealership in Hyderabad city.

      The Hyderabad dealership of Rolls Royce will become fully operational by mid 2012. Besides inaugurating new dealership, the company formally launched the Ghost extended wheelbase version in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

      While speaking at the occasion of the inauguration of this new dealership in Hyderabad, Mr. Herfried Hasenoehrl, said that the upcoming dealers of the company will be formed in northern and southern region, each. Mr. Hasenoehrl also takes care of the company’s operations in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

      Speaking to the reporters in a press conference, he said, "We just came to Hyderabad... We are in talks with a dealer in north and will soon close the deal. So, the first dealer will be in north, and the other one will be in central or south."

      Since its launch in the Indian market in year 2005, the company has managed to sell 200 units of its cars in the Indian market. In the Asia Pacific region, India stands at third spot in the overall Rolls Royce sales.
