British luxury carmaker Rolls-Royce has just launched the all-new Dawn convertible for the Indian market. Priced at Rs 6.25 crore (Ex-showroom, Delhi), the Dawn is a super-luxurious four-seater convertible which takes its inspiration from the legendary Silver Dawn.

We first saw the Dawn at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show where this exquisite motorcar made its public debut. Being a Rolls-Royce, the Dawn highlights its presence with the Spirit of Ecstasy bonnet ornament. Furthermore, it’s got a low stance and a massive RR signature chrome grille. The cabin is equally opulent thanks to its full wood finish, leather seats and heavy dose of creature comforts with nearly everything electrically assisted. As for the party piece, the Dawn features a neatly detailed canvas roof capable of dropping down in less than 30 seconds.

Under the long bonnet sits a 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 powerhouse that develops 563bhp and 780Nm of torque. All that power is shifted to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Despite its mammoth proportions and weight, the Dawn is capable of accelerating from 0-100kmph in just less than five seconds and hit an electronically limited top-speed of 250kmph. The Dawn carries a base price of Rs 6.25 crore; however, each customer can spec their car up with bespoke customizable options for that little bit of individuality.
