      Renault's under development A segment hatch coming in 2015

      Renault is planning to add yet another hatchback to its India portfolio which is expected to launch by 2015. If rumours are to be believed, the under development small car from Renault is Datsun’s Ready Go which was displayed at the 2014 Auto Expo.Datsunis a low cost brand of Renault’s global partner Nissan, Ready Go will be built and designed explicitly in India and will aim at emerging markets across the globe. Besides India, the small car will also be built in Brazil. Positioned below GO hatchback, Ready-GO will be a low priced petite car which will take on cars like Hyundai Eon andMarutiAlto. With the new small car Renault eyes doubling its market share in India from 2.5 per cent to 5 per cent.

      Renault currently offers Pulse hatchback in B segment, Pulse is arebadgedversion of Nissan Micra. After initial hype, Pulse lost its sheen withmeagersales roped in every month. After the launch of NissanTerranoboth the car makers agreed on not sharing products in India.Terranois based on Renault’s popular compact SUV Duster. Duster is the most selling vehicle from Renault India’s stable. Afaceliftversion of Duster is in the making, sincethe SUV has not even completed 2 years in the country, therefore it is expected to get a minorfacelift.Among the new additions a double optic head lamps with LED daytime running lights, a restyled grille boasting of new air intake system are included.Tweaks have also been made inside the cabin, seats have been revivified proffering enhanced comfort, dashboard has also been tuned to render a chic appeal.
