Codenamed Porsche J1, the Mission E concept gets two electric motors, one for each axle. Reports indicate that both the electric motors generate a power output figure of around 592bhp. The electric vehicle is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100kmph in just about 3.5 seconds and is capable of clocking 200kmph in under 12 seconds. The company has not revealed the battery capacity yet, however it is believed that it might offer a range of over 500kms. Moreover, with a quick charging facility it is capable of achieving 80 per cent in less than 15 minutes.

Additional details on Porsche’s upcoming all-electric vehicle will be known over the next few months. To be manufactured at the company’s facility in Zuffenhausen, Germany, the vehicle is expected to arrive in India via the CBU route.
