Suzuki has launched a new model of A-Star in the British market (where it goes by the name Alto). Suzuki has launched 500 limited edition models of the car, featuring new wheel caps, black fog lamp surrounds and the SZ-L badge on the tail gate and side-strips.
There is no news so far about its launch in the Indian market. Currently, Maruti Zen Estilo Limited Edition is doing round in the Indian market and an A-Star Limited Edition model may be planned sometime in future.
Suzuki is also looking at newer markets to boost its sales after the Scrappage scheme has been called off in the European markets. The international market so far refuses to show any sign of growth or recovery in the near future. Suzuki and Hyundai have a strong small car market in Europe and both are looking for new shores to market their cars to keep up their exports sales figures.
